He was immediately communicating back-and-forth with me and the owner and the service technicians at the sawmill getting me the information I was inquiring about regarding the used Sawmill. He also was quick contacting the owner of the Sawmill with a price I suggested that I would be willing to pay and got back right with me telling me that even it was way lower than what the owner wanted, he wanted to move the equipment and agreed to the price. Zack van worked with me, organizing the freight, helping me choose which option would be best for hauling the equipment back to my yard in Doswell, Virginia. He negotiate a discount for the second truck needed to haul all the equipment that they couldn’t fit on the first tractor trailer. Zack is a ex Navy veteran as I am and I feel like we became friends through the process sharing stories. I look forward to doing business with them again.

  • In 2019 we updated a Viking Turbo that was built in 1992. PMG was able to bring the machine back to life! The mechanical and electrical upgrade were all done in our shop and gained an instant 60% increase in productivity. It was amazing the difference seen in the machine after the updated electrical controls were installed. If you have an older Viking Turbo machine that has slowed down over the years, I would strongly recommend having PMG come to your place and give it a “new life”!

  • Pallet Lumber and Supply has been working together with PMG for almost 2 years. PMG performed an electrical upgrade to our 1994 Viking Turbo 505 which was completely not operational when it arrived in our plant. Through this upgrade, we were able to get online for less than half the cost of a new machine. This upgrade enabled us to increase our daily output by 100%. While onsite PMG made a pitch to have us purchase an M2L stacker. It made a large impact towards increasing our production. We were able to have the stacker come online during COVID and was instrumental in keeping up with production during a difficult time to retain employees. We recently purchased an LZ2000. It was everything it was sold to be, the workmanship was done very well. I have found PMG and their team to be an important part of our business and would highly recommend them to anyone regardless of your size.

We contacted PMG to inquire about the M2L stackers they were selling. From the start of the sale to the end PMG made the process very easy. Leading up to the machine's arrival we were a little nervous about how hard the installation would be since we had never run one of these types of machines before. In less than 24 hours the machine was installed and operating. We installed our first bottom up stacker behind our double head notcher and from day one it has been a success for us on managing and controlling labor better. This machine is one of the only machines in the facility that can continuously operate without issues and minimal operator input. Once you have the M2L setup and dialed in the machine will practically run itself. “

We were using only bandsaws prior to the HY400 and we struggled with keeping up with our own nailing machines. If we tried to push the bandsaws any faster, we dealt with thick and thin lumber along with sawdust and bearding on the lumber.
